CNC Machinist – Connecticut Facility

Snap Shot

  • Ability to understand and follow detailed Operation sheets

Maintenance Technician – Connecticut Facility

  • Maintain and service CNC machines as well as all other machines throughout the company
  • Responsible for all safety initiatives throughout the company.
  • Maintain all systems of the company including heating, building and equipment maintenance.
  • Should have a strong understanding of OSHA requirements.
  • Abide by safety and environmental procedures including hazardous waste, SDS’s, and emergency response.
  • Keep up with latest technology, new laws and efficiency standards as they relate to the business.
  • Effective communication skills with management, and outside vendors and customers.

Welding Engineer – Connecticut Facility

  • Responsible for providing engineering support for welding assembly, customer interface and product performance.
  • Assure compliance to customer specifications.
  • Supervise and verify all welder and welder operator qualifications
  • Establish training guidelines and content; educate operators and support personnel in process flow, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities
  • Write and maintain operation manuals and procedures relating to metals joining
  • Establish welding procedures to guide production and welding personnel relating to specification restrictions, material processes, involve use of complex alloys, welding of critical joints.
  • Provide technical welding support and act as primary contact for questions, issues and interpretations related to welding procedures and codes.
  • Assist Quality Control functions in internal and external audits.
  • Troubleshoot metal joining problems on shop floor and at vendors’ facilities, as needed
  • Assist with bid, proposal and contract activity, including plans, presentations to customers and reporting results; provide technical support for RFQ responses.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding current and new weld assembly processing, tooling, and equipment
  • Experience required: 5+ years

 

 Process Engineer / CNC Programmer – Connecticut Facility

 Manufacturing Engineer – New York Facility

  • Prepare estimates of production times, labor requirements, equipment, materials and related costs to provide information for management decision.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software, preferably Catia V5, to create 3D models from 2D drawings and draw up manufacturing plans.
  • Generate CAD drawings and product structures to accurately match and clearly communicate customer requirements.

Welder – Connecticut & New York Facilities

  • Perform equipment checks and change-overs
  • Responsible for quality control
  • Perform plant functions of fusion welding techniques
  • Responsible for repairing improperly welded pieces and any nonconforming products
  • Work within the standard operation procedures and job safety parameters
  • Complete all paperwork of maintenance on machinery
  • Communicate with all co-workers and shifts
  • Clean and maintain a safe work area
  • Assist other welders when necessary
  • Position and weld parts according to special instructions, blueprints and/or travelers
  • Measure parts to specified tolerances
  • Inspect all parts for cleanliness and flaws. If flaws exist, completes Nonconforming
